FED: Rudd puts indigenous report card on hold due to bushfires

KEVIN RUDD won't deliver a report card on the government's efforts to close the gap
between black and white living standards this week as promised.

The prime minister was expected to comment on Labor's progress on the eve of the first
anniversary of the formal apology to the stolen generations .. delivered on February 13
last year.

But the report's been delayed because of the Victorian bushfires.

It's now expected to be delivered when parliament sits again on February 23.
