Vic: Moorabbin operators ready to go it alone on fuel crisis

MELBOURNE, Jan 20 AAP - Aircraft and helicopter operators at Melbourne's Moorabbin
Airport today said they were ready to go it alone and prepare to resume flying as soon
as possible in the wake of the fuel crisis.

The Moorabbin Operators Group, slamming both the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)
and Mobil for their response to the crisis, said it it had no alternative but to "take
matters into our own hands".

Group spokesman Max Quartermain said the operators wanted to get their aircraft fuel
